David E. "Bubba" Raines, 46 of Lindside, WV passed away Sunday September 15, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born July 8, 1967 in Pearisburg, VA he was a son of the late Lacy and Fannie Crawford Raines.

David was a lifetime resident of Lindside, he enjoyed horseback riding with his friends and loved his horse Zorro.

David his survived by his wife Cynthia G. Raines of the home, one daughter Audrea Bowers and husband Scott and their three children Brock, Trent, and Alydia Bowers all of Lindside, WV. two brothers Richard and wife Melissa Raines of Peterstown and Ronald Raines and wife Sandy of Lindside, four sisters Marie Goodwin and husband Bill and Shelby Walker and husband Mike all of Lewisburg, WV, Gladys Whittaker and husband John of Pembroke, VA and Margaret Martin and husband Michael of Christiansburg, VA and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 18, 2013 at 2:00PM at the Lindside Christian Church with Pastor Tony Reed and Pastor Richard Hodges officiating. Burial will follow at Broyles Cemetery in Lindside with Rinny Cline, Cliff Cole, Gary Amos Jr., Mike "Moose" Moseley, Roy Roberts, Jared Bailey, Jerry King, Jake Laws serving as pallbearers and Charlie Lester and Barry Dixon Jr. as honorary pallbearers. Family will receive friends at the church from 6pm til 8pm on Tuesday September 17, 2013.
