Verna Jane Pierson,90 went to her eternal home on April 4, 2014 at Springfield Center following a short illness.
Born March 2, 1924 in Beech Glen, WV to the Late Roy Maywood and Bessie Justice Pierson Sr. Prior to retiring she had worked at Elyria Manufacturing Company in Elyria, OH as a bookkeeper for 40 years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Roy M. Pierson Jr, Haymond Pierson, and Okey Franklin Pierson, 2 sisters Vera Ann Pierson and Virginia Summers
Verna is survived by 2 brothers, Howard Pierson and wife Janis of Chula Vista, CA and James (Jim) Pierson and wife Anna of Lindside with whom she had made her home with for the last 18 years. 2 sister-in-laws, Ann Pierson of Elyria, Oh and Jean Pierson of Taylors, SC, several nieces and nephews and especially 2 great nephews, Kenny and Casey Pierson of Avon Lake, OH.
It was her wish to be cremated and her remains will ne entombed at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Lorain, OH.
