Obituary for Jimmy M. Cook
Jimmy M. Cook, 74 of Ballard, WV passed away Friday April 25, 2014 at his home. Born August 27, 1939 in Lerona, WV he was a son of the late Alger and Roberta Pettrey Cook.
Mr. Cook was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his wife Alice Cook, one son Jimmy Boyd Cook, two brothers Amos Boden Cook and Walter M. Cook, three sisters Marguerite McKay, Beulah Ball, Geneva Hudson, and two grandsons.
He is survived by four sons Billy Cook and wife Kimberly of Ballard, WV, Danny Wayne Cook and wife Tammy of Brushfork, WV, Michael Lee Cook and wife Michelle of Bluewell, WV, and Walter M. Cook, two sisters Evelyn Barbery of Athens, WV, and Mary Jane Landry, eight grandchildren Becky Keel, Joshua Cook, Rachel Cook all of Wisconsin, Matt Cook of Hawaii, Kristy Frazier, Karen Cook, Valerie Cook, and Melissa Phelps all of West Virginia and many great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday April 28, 2014 at 4:00 PM at Wickline Funeral Home with Pastor Willis Carr officiating. Friends may call from 3PM till 4PM at the funeral home.
