Obituary for Frank H. Crawford
Frank H. Crawford, 88 of Peterstown, WV passed away Wednesday March 11, 2015 at Giles Community Hospital in Pearisburg, VA following a long illness. Born December 28, 1926 in Blue Lick, WV he was a son of the late Allen T. and Maude Riner Crawford. Frank was a lifetime resident of Monroe County and had operated Crawford's Garage in Peterstown with his two sons Danny and Dale. Frank was a member of the Appalachian Christian church in Peterstown. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Alice Wanda Crawford, one son Danny Crawford, and three brothers Mark, Russell and Ralph Crawford.
Frank is survived by his son Dale Crawford and Gayle Whitt of Peterstown, one daughter-in-law Linda Crawford of Peterstown, one sister Hallie Weikle of Peterstown, three grandchildren Rhonda Cable of Christiansburg, VA, Lee Tiller of Narrows, Va and Patricia Daniels of Spainsburg, WV, 9 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren, several neices and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday March 14, 2015 at2:00 PM at Wickline Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Biggs and Pastor Rodger Boothe officiating. Burial will follow at Chambers Cemetery in Lindside. Friends may call from 12:00 PM till time of service at Wickline Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Buck Crawford, Freddie Ratliff, Sam Faulkner, Ronald Raines, Richard Raines and Bobby Craig, Honorary pallbearers John Porterfield, Joe Hazelwood and Joe Pyne, Harry Brown, Jackie Evans.
