Obituary for Everett Lee Adkins

BALLARD-Everett Lee Adkins, 72 of Ballard, WV passed away Sunday August 9, 2015 at Summers ARH Hinton, WV following a sudden illness.
Born February 1, 1943 in Greenville, WV he was a son of the late Herman and Christine Wickline Adkins. Everett was a member of the Community Family Worship Center in Peterstown. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, racing and working on cars, he was an all around handyman. A man who loved and lived life to the fullest. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Kelly Davis Adkins and one sister Phyllis Adkins.
Everett is survived by his wife of 50 years Linda Thomason Adkins whom he marrried on January 4, 1964, one son James Adkins and wife Lynn of Rich Creek, VA, two daughters Barbara Howard and Deloris Woods and husband Tony all of Peterstown, two sisters Nada Copeland and Carol Cannady both of Ballard, WV, 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2;00 PM Saturday August 15, 2015 at Wickline Funeral Home with Pastor Willis Carr and Pastor Pete Dunford officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Garden in Lindside. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Family will receive friends on Friday August 14, 2015 from 6pm till 8pm at Wickline Funeral Home of Lindside, online condolences may be made at www.wicklinefuneralhome.com
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Community Family Worship Center at Rt. 1 Box 581 Peterstown, WV 24963.
