Obituary for Randolph Franklin Dolin

Randolph F. Dolin Sr., 83 of Longdale Furnace Rd. Clifton Forge, VA passed away Wednesday February 15, 2017 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA.
Born January 28, 1934 in Alvon, WV he was a son of the late Mart G. and Oleta Pinnell Dolin. He was a Veteran serving in the US Army were he received the Army Operation Medal, National Defense Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal,he was a member of the American Legion Post #4 in Covington, VA. He was a former member of the Green Valley Kiwanis Club in Bluefield, WV, and the Sharon Ruritan Club for 21 years. He done many volunteer jobs in the Longdale Furnace Community. Randolph was an avid outdoorsman hunting and enjoyed his daily hike with his dog Feisty.
He is survivied by two sons Randolph F "Randy" Dolin Jr and his wife Debbie, and Martin Wayne Dolin all of Clifton Forge, VA. one brother Gerald D. Dolin and his wife Faye of Roanoke, VA his former wife Joyce Conner of Longdale Furnace, VA, and a special friend Ethel Sue Collins of Clifton Forge, VA.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Saturday February 18, 2017 at Alvon United Methodist Church with Rev. Ed Craft officiating. Burial will follow at Alvon United Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 (Noon) til time of the service at the church.
