The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Annie Gallagher can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I am so sorry to the Family for your loss of your Mother and Grandmother. I was so saddened to hear about the loss of such a sweet and beautiful lady that I visited on many occasions at the Nursing Home. She brought such joy to my life when I would visit with her. We would sing and share stories. When it was time to leave I always held her hand and we shared a prayer together. I felt such a closeness of friendship with her. When she would sang the song "When Irish Eyes are Smiling", it brought tears to my eyes. I could feel she was thinking of her homeland. I felt like I had known her all my life when only I had known her for such a short period. I will truly miss not seeing her on this earth and I will look forward to the day I will see my friend again. Sweet peace to you...Susan

Condolence: My Kind and Gentle Annie, you were a treasure to know and love. Our paths first crossed in 1978 and since that time we have shared great joys and great sorrows together as family and friends. It was an honor to give you grandchildren and to name my youngest for you. My fondest memories of you are watching you at Disneyworld with Erin, dancing Irish jigs in your living room, drinking tea, listening for hours to your stories, and playing cards in your kitchen. I love you so and will cherish our many memories. Until we meet again....

Condolence: Words seem inadequate to express the sorrow felt by the loss of such a loved one. My heart is with you.  As well as this beautiful encouraging promise, John 5:28,29 "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."   Imagine that day when all our dear loved ones are brought back to life through a resurrection and reunited with us again.  What a truly beautiful promise of comfort and hope and how we long for that special day so close at hand.

Condolence: If you can love another families mother as much as your own, thats the way I felt about Nan. They never visited Morgantown without a stop to my home for the craic. I never missed a chance to golf with BA or share stories with the balance of the family. We were reunited as friends when we all lived in Central Pa. And my history with Brian and his family goes very far back.

This hurts and burns. Such a dear, sweet person with the wit like no other and a laugh that would bring us all to our knees.

My life is better for having known the Gallaghers and to think of her being gone....well....while we celebrate her life in our misery, she is in a place that we all call home.

God Bless you Nan. Say hello to BA and save a spot for me at the table!

Tony
