Obituary for George Lee Sanders
Blacksburg-George Lee Sanders,66 of 30 Betty Drive, Christiansburg, VA passed away July 1, 2017 at Lewis-Gale Montgomery in Blacksburg, VA.
Born January 25, 1951 in Lindside, WV he was a son of the late Harvey H. and Grace Grubb Sanders. George worked at Moog in Blacksburg, VA,and a 1969 graduate of Peterstown High School. He was preceded in death by four brothers Jack, Junior, Roy and Danny and three sisters Violet, Lesie and Elizabeth.
George is survivied by his wife of 39 years Vicki Sifford Sanders of the home, one son Jason and wife Beth Sanders of Narrows, VA and two grandchildren Nathan and Hannah Sanders of Narrows, VA; one sister Lorraine Huffman and husband Otuce of Ballard, WV.
Memorial Services will be held 11:00AM on Wednesday July 5, 2017 at Wickline Funeral Home in Lindside with Minister Otuce Huffman officiating. In lieu of flowers family ask for donations to help with funeral expenses. Online condolences may be made at www.wicklinefuneralhome.com
