Mitchell Wade "Mitch" Price, 48 of Lindside, WV passed away Wednesday March 26, 2014 surrounded by his loving family and friends after a short hard fought battle with cancer. Mitch was born August 31, 1965 in Lebanon, KY and was the son of Eugene and Charlene Price of Lebanon, KY.
A member of the Brush Grove Baptist Church in Willisburg, KY,and was affiliated with Orchard Christian Church in Ballard, WV. he was employed with Centria, Inc. in Frankfort, KY for 19 1/2 years, after relocating to Lindside he was employed with Union Disposal. Mitch loved working with wood, making and creating many gifts for his loved ones and friends. He will also be remembered for his sense of humor and joke telling. Mitch loved to do landscaping, working in his garden and with his flowers. He will most importantly be remembered for his love for our God Almighty and for his family and friends, he had hardworking Christian ethics, faith, courage and his love for mankind touched many lives in such a special way his memory will forever be held in all the hearts of those you knew him.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Woodie and Lottie Price and paternal grandparents Bill and Fannie Price and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his loving wife Loretta Crawford Price of the home, one son, Chris Price and one daughter Candace Price both of Willisburg, KY, one sister Imogene Price Brockman of Lebanon, KY, father and mother in law Bobby and Joyce Crawford, brother-in-law Joe Crawford all of Lindside, WV, sister in law Karen Hammonds and finaceTim Gore of Ballard, WV, several nephews, great neices, aunts, uncles, amd a large extended family.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday April 3, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Orchard Christian Center in Ballard, WV with Rev. Rusty Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in Wikel, WV. Friends may call from 5PM til 8PM at Wickline Funeral Home on Wednesday April 2, 2014.
