Obituary for Sharon G. Pitzer (Gabbard)
Sharon G. Pitzer 61 of Rt. 1 Peterstown, WV passed away Monday April 28, 2015 at Princeton Community Hospital following a long illness.
Born July 12, 1953 in Jackson, KY she was a daughter of the late Foyster and Agnes Thomas Gabbard. Sharon was an Art teacher for Monroe County Schools and a Board of Director for the Peterstown Public Library.
Sharon will be remembered by her husband of 37 years Dennis Pitzer of the home, one son Pete Pitzer & Brittany Handy of the home, and one daughter Jennifer Porterfield & Mark Davis of Ballard, WV, grandchildren Landon and Savannah Pitzer, Sydney, Connor and Jackson Porterfield, Bailey, Cole, Mark Jr. and Faith Davis. One sister Penny G. Hamilton of Prestonburg, KY and one brother Jay Allen Gabbard of Frankfort, KY and many uncles, aunts, neices, nephews and in-laws.
Funeral services will be held Thursday April 30, 2015 at 7:00 Pm at Orchard Christian Center with Rev. Rusty Hughes and Pastor Pete Dunford officiating. Friends may call from 5PM till 7 PM at the church prior to the service.
