Alfred H  McKinney
Alfred H.McKinney, 70 of Lindside, WV (Charles Ballard Road) passed away Tuesday June 14, 2016 at home with his family by his side. Born August 4, 1945 in Lester, WV he was the son of the late Allie Riley and Martha McKinney. Alfred was of the Missionary Baptist faith and was a retired coal miner. He was a member of theUnited Mine Workers.
Alfred is survived by his wife of 27 years Louise Dathern Williams of the home, two sons Allen Hayes McKinney and his wife Vickie of King, NC, Anthony Heath McKinney of Princewick, WV, one daughter Marla Reed and husband James of Lindside, WV, step-son Wallace Bailey Roanoke, VA, step-daughters Nora Austin and husband Melvin and Wanda Brewer both of Princeton, WV, two sisters Loretta Muovich and husband Michael of Harper,WV and Gladys Acord and husband Arnold of Lester, WV. 10 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 7 step-great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM (noon) Saturday June 18, 2016 at Wickline Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Martin officiating. Burial will follow at the McKinney Cemetery in Wikel on the family farm.
Kenny Christian, Ronnie Dean Ransom Thomas Mckinney, David Christian, Shawn Linville, Scott Lynch, Mike Muovich and Jessee Constantino will serve as pallbearers.
